Not only did The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt give us a wonderfully interesting and elaborate world, but it also gave us a great trading card game called Gwent. In fact, it was so popular with players that CD Projekt even released a standalone collectible card game later on called Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. And in 2019, the game’s final version was released for PC and mobiles.
I enjoyed Gwent: The Witcher Card Game when it was in beta testing, and I never got to accept the final version of the game. The loss of such a great game made me want to come up with an analog of my own. Only to make it better and to make it a tabletop game that could be played together in a large company. And well, I did it!
This game was developed by my studio Brightdawn Entertainment. I held the position of game producer and game designer.
